Scientist-Community Engagement to reduce Risk of zoonotic Infection
Dr. Hoa studies Vietnamese local communities’ perceptions and activities in relation with zoonosis, infections caused by the pathogens transmitted from animals to humans. Her study will include biological and social studies together with artistic activities in order to ensure an effective engagement of key stakeholders, such as farmers, consumers, scientists, human and animal public health experts. Specific interventions will be designed to prevent zoonotic infections.
