Driving Innovation in Economic Policy

In October 2021, the AXA Research Fund and the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) embarked on a three-year strategic partnership to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges through innovative initiatives. This collaboration was designed to foster innovative research, strengthen policy networks, and deliver actionable insights to tackle critical global issues.

The AXA Research Fund’s endowment has been instrumental in supporting CEPR’s mission to advance economic research and policy dialogue. Through this partnership, CEPR has been empowered to expand its reach and impact, enabling the organization to undertake a range of high-profile initiatives.

Key activities supported by the partnership include the publication of the CEPR Annual Paris Report, the organization of the European Summer Symposium on Macro-economics (ESSIM), and participation in events such as Les Journées de l’Économie (JECO). Additionally, the partnership has facilitated the launch of initiatives like the CEPR Ukraine Initiative, the Women in Economics Initiative, and the Young Researchers – Discover Economics Initiative.
